Education Part II

Well Education Part 1 was heavy! Some good books for you (to ease the burden!):

The Snowball: Warren Buffett and the Business of Life – Alice Schroeder

I try to re-read this every year as I learn something new about business and investing.

Man’s Search for Meaning – Viktor E. Frankl

A book about hope and choices. You can lose everything but you still have the choice to be positive and have hope.

Purchase: Man’s Search for Meaning – Viktor E. Frankl

How to Get Rich – Felix Dennis

Another book I re-read each year. This has changed my life in more than one way – plus I keep giving people copies! Felix was a magazine publisher who died with an fortune of nearly $1 billion. His book is part autobiography, part anti self help, and part business book. It’s not for the faint hearted.

Purchase: How to Get Rich – Felix Dennis

Sam Walton : Made in America My Story – Sam Walton

This book was written shortly before Sam got cancer and died. It outlines how he built Walmark and how he was a man of few material possessions.

Purchase: Sam Walton : Made in America My Story – Sam Walton

The Naked Trader: How Anyone Can Make Money Trading Shares – Robbie Burns

Although this is a UK based book and might not make much sense to most of you reading, it’s still a good book on investing, making money and creating income with little work.

Pour Your Heart into it: How Starbucks Built a Company One Cup at a Time – Howard Schultz

While I don’t like  or drink coffee, I was struck by how passionate he is about life, business and coffee!
